Hi everyone!

We really need parents to attend either one of the two Official's Training that will be at the Herndon Community Center, Community Room 3, at 7 pm on Wednesday, June 6 and Monday, June 11.  We are really short stroke and turn judges this year, which we need to participate in meets.  We can pare you with a more experienced judge as you are learning.  These clinics are also a great way to learn what strokes should look like - I found it fascinating last year as I don't have a swimming background.

Stroke and Turn/Referee Clinics

This clinic will be taught by Jim Thompson, a Potomac Valley Swimming trainer. Jim will cover the technical rules for all four of the basic strokes as well as the individual Medley and the procedures for running an efficient swim meet. These clinics will be taught in Community Room #3 at the Herndon Community Center at 7:00 PM on the following dates:
