Hi everyone!

Our amazing volunteer coordinator, Emma, is on vacation for the next three meets, leaving the rest of us to muddle our way through them.  We REALLY need your help to ensure the meets run smoothly since we are such a small team.  If you have a swimmer in the meet, you must sign up for a volunteer position during the meet, in addition to either pool set-up or tear down.  

Set-up for this Saturday's meet will happen at 8 pm on Friday night.  Steve Fast has graciously agreed to lead the effort to set up.  Please try to help so it goes quickly!

On Saturday morning, we are going to try a new system to check in volunteers and swimmers.  There will be a meet check-in table near the pool gates.  We ask that all swimmers and meet volunteers check in there as soon as they arrive so we know who is present and who is still missing. This will help us ensure all our volunteer roles are filled so the meet can start.  If you need to leave before the last relay, we also ask that you check-out.  Last night, we had to quickly fill some volunteer slots when the people volunteering left without telling anyone.  

Please sign up now for the next few meets now so we can finalize volunteers and swimmers.  I am going to try to take on Emma's responsibilities, but can't do it without your help.  Emma takes care of a variety of needs at the meet and I will need help to do them all (especially since this will be my first time filling this position).  If you see something that needs attention, please let me know - thanks in advance for your help and understanding!
